I had a zoom meeting with Bart from Macleay College today. MEGA is very excited to promote and pathway our students to their Bachelor of Digital Advertising, Bachelor of Advertising and Media, and Bachelor of Business courses. With good mix of domestic students and job ready internship programs as part of their degree courses, Macleay surely provides a better value for international students. For MEGA’s packaged students, only two students deposit ($4500) is required to reserve Macleay College’s placement.

Our director of International Collaboration, Dr Sutida, has met with Ms Dararut Aunkam, the Director of Faculty of Administration Division at the Khon Kaen University (KKU), Thailand. I am pleased to learn that 11 of their faculty staff will visit MEGA soon (when Australian border opens) to study our English program. I also thank Khun Pattarin from Austrade for their continuous support.

The Hotel School’s Semester 2 intake will start on 29 June 2020. $2000 scholarship is available for our international students. With their excellent paid internship program embedded into their bachelor course, students will gain both work experience and tuition fee support.

Another fallen soldier… As of yesterday afternoon, Bridge Business College, a 30 year old VET college with a maximum of 3608 student capacity has closed its door forever. Our key agents have been enquiring yesterday afternoon and this morning, seeking MEGA’s help to accept their Bridge Business College’s displaced students.

Many of our students still prefer face-to-face mode. And we always do our best to accommodate those requests to maintain our high standard of education. Our students love our campus, our staff, the friendly learning atmosphere, and that sense of belonging. We are now planning for 50% of our weekly English classes to be brought back to campus from Monday, 1 June 2020. Announcements will be made very shortly.
